Silver Star Properties REIT, Inc. (“Silver Star Properties”) has a portfolio of short term income properties under its management. Silver Star Properties is a Maryland corporation formed on February 5, 2009, to acquire, develop and own office, retail, industrial, and warehouse properties.
We qualify as a real estate investment trust, or REIT, for federal income tax purposes beginning with the taxable year that will end December 31, 2010. We invested in commercial properties, including office buildings, shopping centers, other retail and commercial properties, some of which may be actively leased to a number of tenants having relatively short (1-3) year leases and others may be net leased to a single tenant.
